The Ten Eyck Group affiliation follows King Risk Partners' acquisition of Hanc Group in Georgia on Feb. 13, Arnold Insurance Agency in Ohio in December 2025, and Stewart Agency in New York in December 2025. Over the past five years, the brokerage has averaged 7.2 acquisitions annually.
King Risk Partners now operates more than 50 locations serving over 55,000 clients, predominantly along the East Coast. The firm is backed by private equity investors Lightyear Capital LLC and BHMS Investments LP, which completed a growth investment in April 2025.
"Their track record of service excellence, market knowledge, and trusted client relationships makes them a perfect fit for our organization," Scott Popilek, chief executive officer of King Risk Partners, said. He noted the partnership will deepen the company's presence in New York.
Christopher A. Brassard, president of Ten Eyck Group, said the partnership will allow the agency to build on its existing foundation.
"This relationship provides additional support to expand our personal and commercial insurance offerings while remaining committed to the service approach and standards that have defined our organization," he said.
Ten Eyck Group employees have served the company for an average of eight years, with half a dozen employees exceeding the 15-year mark. The agency serves both for-profit and non-profit organizations, as well as municipalities, schools and other government entities.
Ten Eyck Group will continue to operate under its current brand as part of the King Risk Partners network, with the agency's leadership team remaining in place following the affiliation.
