The Baldwin Group has named Joe Valerio (pictured, left) as chief operating officer of its insurance advisory solutions division, overseeing retail property and casualty and employee benefits brokerage operations.
Valerio, who brings nearly 30 years of industry experience from Willis Towers Watson and World Insurance Associates, will focus on aligning operational execution with the firm’s growth and client service objectives. His appointment reflects Baldwin’s continued efforts to build scalable operations and deliver consistent performance across its retail segment.
NFP, an Aon company, has appointed Dave Roberts (pictured, center) as senior vice president, surety, in its Northeast region.
Based in New Jersey, Roberts joins from Liberty Mutual, where he led the insurer's largest surety office. His addition supports NFP’s strategy to strengthen its surety operations and enhance coverage solutions for contractors and infrastructure clients adapting to new commercial risks.
Falvey Insurance Group has taken a proactive step in managing freight broker liability risks by appointing Marc Blubaugh (pictured, right) as lead coordinating counsel.
The move comes as litigation exposure for freight brokers continues to rise across US jurisdictions.
