Brokerslink has added LAB3, a corporate insurance broker based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, as an affiliate to its international network. The move is part of the global broking business's continued expansion in Europe.
LAB3 was founded in 2006 and operates as a family-owned firm. The company is led by founder and director Arijana Lipovec (pictured above) and has nearly two decades of experience advising corporate and industrial clients.
The broker focuses on corporate property and casualty risks, business interruption, complex property damage, and liability lines including general, product and professional coverage. It also handles motor fleets, transport-related risks, fronting arrangements, master policy structures and claims advisory for complex losses.
LAB3's operations include work on international programmes and multinational client requirements.
Lipovec said the affiliation aligns with the company's direction as it continues to work with clients whose risk profiles have become more complex and international. She added that Brokerslink's model would allow the firm to "combine local expertise with strong international capabilities."
"Joining the Brokerslink network is a natural step for LAB3 as we continue to support corporate clients with increasingly complex and international risk profiles," Lipovec said.
Carla Alves, marketing and operations director at Brokerslink, said LAB3's focus on complex corporate risks would support the network's work with multinational clients.
"Their addition further strengthens our network and enhances our ability to support multinational clients with high-quality, locally grounded solutions," Alves said.
The LAB3 affiliation follows a period of network growth for Brokerslink. The company recently added three specialist affiliates to its employee benefits offering: Corporate Counselling Services, HealthNEXT and Inova Care.
Brokerslink has also expanded beyond traditional broking services with the addition of Solutions360, a consulting firm specialising in operational, strategic and technology-driven management solutions.
The network further extended its Nordic presence with the inclusion of Afkoma, Iceland's third-largest insurance broker, which manages approximately US$22 million in written premium annually.
