King Risk Partners has expanded its Southeast presence with the acquisition of LH Griffith & Company, LLC, an independent insurance agency based in Walterboro and Goose Creek, S.C.
LH Griffith & Company, established over 25 years ago, provides insurance solutions for individuals, families, and businesses, offering auto, home, life, business, and transportation coverage. The agency has built a client base across the Lowcountry, focusing on long-term relationships and service.
Malcolm King, CEO of King Risk Partners, said the addition of LH Griffith & Company aligns with the firm’s growth plans in South Carolina.
“We’re excited to welcome LH Griffith into the King Risk Partners team,” King said. He noted that the agency’s reputation and established client relationships complement King Risk Partners’ culture and expansion strategy.
King said that the partnership will allow the company to expand its presence in South Carolina while providing clients with both personalized service and access to expanded solutions.
Heath Griffith, principal of LH Griffith & Company, said the partnership ensures continuity for clients and access to broader resources.
“Our partnership with King Risk Partners guarantees continuity of the personalized service our clients know, enhanced by the resources and strength of a national firm,” Griffith said.
The acquisition of LH Griffith & Company follows a series of recent deals by King Risk Partners aimed at strengthening its national platform. Earlier this year, the firm acquired VIA Insurance Agency to boost its presence in New Jersey.
VIA Insurance is recognized for its expertise in both personal and commercial lines, and the deal is expected to enhance King Risk Partners’ service capabilities for clients with complex insurance needs in the Northeast.
The company also acquired Fidens Insurance Brokers, further expanding its reach and service offerings. Fidens specializes in risk management solutions for businesses and individuals.
