Starwind Specialty Insurance Services, a CRC Group company, has added Erin Savcic and Cormack Mulcahy to its expanding Starwind Environmental team.
The hires respond to growing broker demand for technical expertise in environmental, oil and gas, and specialty risk coverage, as well as heightened regulatory and liability challenges in these sectors.
Bolstering coverage in key US markets
Savcic (pictured, left) brings more than a decade of experience in environmental and specialty underwriting, focusing on environmental and oil and gas risks. Based in Houston, she will expand Starwind's Southwest territory, providing brokers with direct access to technical knowledge and fast, collaborative service.
Mulcahy (pictured, right), with over 15 years of experience in environmental underwriting, territory leadership, and technical operations, will drive Starwind’s Midwest expansion from Chicago. His expertise enhances regional broker support and strengthens market insights for complex environmental programs.

These additions align with CRC Group’s broader strategy of growing its specialty divisions through targeted talent acquisition, deeper regional presence, and enhanced technical capabilities. By integrating Starwind Environmental more fully into its national platform, CRC can better serve brokers navigating increasingly complex environmental and industrial risk exposures, while reinforcing its reputation for responsive and technically rigorous underwriting.
