Warrior Insurance, Genstone Insurance and Lockton have each announced senior appointments aimed at deepening sector expertise, strengthening producer support and scaling national platforms.
Warrior Insurance Network (WIN) announced that it has tapped Joe Tassone (pictured, left) as Iowa state marketing manager.
As state marketing manager, Tassone will lead First Chicago Insurance Company's (FCIC) expansion in the state. FCIC offers a personal auto insurance policy in Iowa featuring a range of discounts and multiple installment payment options. In addition to state‑mandated coverages, FCIC provides optional coverages such as emergency roadside assistance, towing and rental coverage, among others.
Tassone will support WIN’s agency partners by providing marketing resources and drawing on his background as a P&C agency principal and marketing manager.
“I aim to be a dependable, solutions‑oriented team member. I am someone who brings energy, accountability, and a willingness to learn,” Tassone said. “I believe in developing relationships with our agency partners and looking for ways that drive growth and our mutual long‑term success.”
Genstone Insurance has appointed Dan Huynn (pictured, right) as president, adding nearly three decades of insurance and financial services leadership to its national insurance platform serving homeowners, real estate investors, and institutional partners.
Huynn joins Genstone with more than 27 years of experience spanning carrier leadership, distribution, personal and commercial lines, and voluntary benefits. He most recently served as chief revenue officer at Covered, where he led multiple contact centers and co‑led a strategic M&A transaction that resulted in a sevenfold increase in written premiums.
Genstone Insurance operates as a national agency headquartered in Florida and serves clients across all 50 states. It is part of the Genstone Companies, a national real estate and financial services platform made up of eight interconnected businesses supporting homeowners, real estate investors, and institutional partners.
Under Huynn’s leadership, Genstone Insurance will focus on expanding carrier and MGA relationships, increasing competitiveness across personal and commercial lines, and enabling partners and customers to access insurance solutions more efficiently across markets and geographies.
“Genstone has a unique advantage in the market – strong operating businesses, established customer relationships, and a steady flow of qualified demand across servicing, lending, real estate, property management, and title. My role is to connect those dots, expand access to the insurance marketplace, and build a best‑in‑class national insurance operation with digital and embedded capabilities," Huynn said.
Lockton has named Tim Fischer as nuclear segment leader for the firm's US energy practice.
Fischer brings more than 20 years of energy-sector experience across nuclear insurance, risk management and military service. In his new role, he will help advance the company's nuclear strategy by developing specialized advisory capabilities and delivering tailored risk and insurance solutions for clients. He will also serve as a client executive across the power and renewable energy sectors.
Before joining Lockton, Fischer served as vice president and chief risk officer for BWX Technologies, where he led the enterprise risk management initiatives, as well as managed the company's global insurance programs.
Earlier in his career, Fischer spent six years with Marsh's Power & Utility Practice, where he supported the nuclear insurance needs of operating reactors and nuclear fuel-cycle facilities.
“I’m excited to join Lockton to further strengthen the specialization within our energy practice by advancing our nuclear capabilities,” Fischer said. “Lockton has an outstanding reputation for putting clients first, and I look forward to working with this team to deliver thoughtful, innovative solutions for our clients.”
