Skyward Specialty Insurance Group has promoted John Burkhart (pictured, left) to president, US property & casualty.
Burkhart will now oversee the captives and specialty programs divisions alongside his existing responsibilities for professional lines, industry solutions, surety, accident and health, and transactional E&S.
Andrew Robinson, chairman and CEO, highlighted Burkhart’s role in driving growth and operational excellence since joining in 2021. The promotion aligns leadership to support Skyward Specialty’s strategic development in the US property and casualty market.
Aspida Holdings has named Suzanne Sadlier (pictured, center) as head of regulatory affairs, covering regulatory engagement across US, Bermuda and Cayman operations.
Sadlier brings more than two decades of experience in international insurance, captive management and regulatory oversight.
Her prior roles include executive VP of captive management at Artex Risk Solutions and senior positions at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and Central Bank of Ireland.
Sadlier's leadership is expected to bridge regulatory compliance with business growth, particularly in life insurance, annuities and reinsurance markets.
Property insurance MGA Delos Insurance Solutions has appointed Jessica Morse (pictured, right) as a government affairs consultant.
Delos specializes in providing homeowners' insurance in a wildfire-stressed areas of California and other Western states.
Morse, formerly deputy secretary for Forest and Wildland Resilience at California's Natural Resources Agency, brings expertise in wildfire risk mitigation and community-focused insurance solutions.
Anne Thibeault has joined Manulife John Hancock Retirement as head of product.
She will lead product strategy and transformation, product delivery and the benefits consulting group, supporting the evolution of retirement offerings in the US market.
Thibeault brings more than 20 years of experience, most recently as senior VP at Empower, and will focus on delivering innovative, participant-centered solutions.
