The US insurance sector continues to see leadership changes.

NFP promotes Caleb Noel to CFO

NFP, an Aon company, has elevated Caleb Noel (pictured, left) to executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Based in Austin, Noel will report to NFP CEO Doug Hammond and the Aon finance team. His appointment follows the company's recent divestitures, including the sale of Wealthspire Advisors, Fiducient Advisors, and Newport Private Wealth to Madison Dearborn Partners.

Noel has held several finance and operational roles during his 23-year career at NFP, most recently as senior vice president of finance and operations. He also previously served at Scottish Holdings, a division of Scottish Re, and started his career in investment banking at Prudential Securities.

Noel succeeds Brett Schneider and will lead a finance team including Mike Campbell, recently promoted to EVP and chief accounting officer.

Hammond noted that Noel has developed a deep understanding of NFP’s business and culture while building strong collaborative relationships, and he is well positioned to develop financial strategies that support long-term growth and scalability.

Commenting on his new role, Noel expressed enthusiasm about driving financial excellence and unlocking strategic opportunities across the enterprise.

Grange Insurance executive joins InvestSM board

Nicole Carter (pictured, right), vice president of personal lines sales, strategic distribution, and agent experience at Grange Insurance, has joined the board of InvestSM, a nonprofit administered by the Big “I” that promotes insurance education, financial literacy, and career readiness.

Carter will help guide the organization’s strategic direction and expand pathways for students interested in insurance careers.

InvestSM’s executive director Whitnee Dillard emphasized that Carter’s experience and commitment to community and talent development reflect the organization’s mission of connecting students to the insurance industry.

Carter expressed pride in joining the board to help shape pathways for the next generation of insurance professionals. Grange Insurance joins a coalition of leading insurers and industry groups supporting Invest, including APCIA, Chubb, CNA, Hanover, Liberty Mutual, Progressive, Travelers, and others.
