There have been several leadership moves announced across the US insurance industry in the last 24hrs.

CyberCube appoints new CEO to lead next growth phase

CyberCube has named Chris Methven (pictured, left) as chief executive officer, succeeding Pascal Millaire, who will become a senior advisor.

Methven joined CyberCube in April 2020 as chief growth officer. He brings deep knowledge of the business and culture and a strong understanding of its products, clients and long‑term ambitions. Before CyberCube, he was chief revenue officer at supply chain risk analytics firm Achilles.

Commenting on his appointment, Methven said: “I’m honored to be taking on the role of CEO at such an exciting time for the business. I have spent the last six years working directly with our clients and the wider market. I’m very much looking forward to leading the next phase of the company’s growth and development, building on the strong foundations already in place.”

The leadership transition follows CyberCube’s recent $180 million financing led by Spectrum Equity and marks the next stage in the firm’s ambition to be the “world’s leading provider of financial cyber risk to the insurance industry.”

Alliant hires benefits AVP to support major market clients

Alliant Insurance Services has appointed Amanda Quitmeyer (pictured, center) as assistant vice president within its employee benefits group.

Based in Chicago, Illinois, Quitmeyer will work with organizations to design and implement benefits strategies that support business goals, enhance employee well‑being and manage healthcare costs.

Prior to joining Alliant, Quitmeyer was vice president in the major market health & benefits consulting practice at HUB International. She advised large, complex organizations and private‑equity‑backed companies across sectors including retail, technology, pharmaceuticals, financial services and manufacturing.

“Amanda brings both insight and dedication to every client engagement,” said Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits. “Her ability to pair big‑picture strategy with flawless execution makes her an invaluable asset to our expanding team.”

Verisk appoints president of claims solutions business

Verisk has named Steven Kauderer (pictured, right) as president of its claims solutions business, effective immediately.

In his new role, Kauderer leads Verisk’s claims solutions team in delivering insights and technology designed to help insurers and other claims‑ecosystem participants streamline the claims process with greater accuracy, efficiency and speed. He will report to Lee Shavel, Verisk’s president and CEO.

“We’re excited to welcome Steve to Verisk,” Shavel said. “Our clients and colleagues will immediately benefit from his more than three decades of experience advising leading global insurance carriers and brokers and partnering with executive teams to improve claims, underwriting, distribution, AI and digital enablement.”

CRC Group adds three senior specialists to strengthen brokerage platform

CRC Group has welcomed three experienced brokers – Timothy McCaffrey, Mitchell Annan and Hunter Baggett – to its specialty brokerage team, in a move that supports the wholesale distributor’s  partner support.

McCaffrey joins CRC Specialty as a senior broker based in Houston, Texas. He brings more than 20 years’ experience across underwriting, construction, marine and energy, and specialty insurance leadership roles.

In Kansas City, Missouri, Annan has joined as a senior broker focused on transportation risks. With more than a decade of experience, he brings extensive knowledge of new and renewal business, submission strategy, carrier negotiation and policy placement.

And finally, in Birmingham, Alabama, Baggett has joined CRC Specialty as a broker focused on specialty and environmental‑related risks. Baggett is recognized for his relationship‑driven approach and for delivering tailored solutions aligned to client objectives.
