Several insurance and healthcare organizations have made a wave of leadership appointments, expanding their executive ranks and specialty teams across the United States.

CRC Group adds four to specialty division

CRC Group has brought on four professionals to its CRC Specialty division. Elijah Coker joined as a property broker in Port Orange, Florida, while Josh Eidson came on as a broker in Chicago with more than a decade of experience in professional liability, particularly miscellaneous errors and omissions.

Andrew Mitchell joined the Kansas City, Missouri, team focusing on professional lines including directors and officers liability.

William Schroeder (pictured above, left) was named underwriting team leader in New York City, bringing a background in underwriting and claims across commercial property and general liability.

Patriot Growth names Galaviz as CEO

Patriot Growth Insurance Services appointed John Galaviz (pictured above, middle) as chief executive officer. Galaviz joined the firm in 2023 as chief financial officer and was promoted to president in 2025, bringing more than 20 years of experience across brokerage and carrier environments.

He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Stanford University.

NARS taps Wells to lead workers' compensation

North American Risk Services (NARS) named Alice Wells as head of workers' compensation, reporting to CEO Robert Ruryk. In the role, she will lead the strategic direction and operational performance of the company's workers' compensation division.

Wells has more than two decades of experience in claims management and third-party administration operations. She spent most of her career at Johns Eastern Company, advancing from senior adjuster to executive director of TPA operations. She holds an Associate in Claims designation and is pursuing the CPCU designation.

Elevance Health reshuffles leadership across units

Elevance Health announced a series of leadership changes across its Health Benefits and Carelon segments. Carelon provides services to more than 90 million consumers, while the Health Benefits segment serves over 45 million medical members.

Aimée Dailey was named president of government business, overseeing Medicare, Medicaid, Federal Government Solutions, and Group Retiree Solutions.

Kristy Duffey will join as president of Carelon Health from Optum and CINQCARE, while Will Feest will serve as president of Carelon Insights alongside his COO role.

William Fleming was appointed chief growth and strategy officer for Carelon, bringing more than 30 years of healthcare and insurance experience including roles at Humana.

Darrell Oliveira was named Carelon CFO with prior roles at MetLife, Prudential, and MassMutual, and Jeff Plante was named CFO for Health Benefits.
