Several insurers and brokerages have made senior leadership appointments, with moves spanning operations, underwriting, and employee benefits.
The Andover Companies has named Paul Nadeau (pictured above, left) as senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective March 1.
Nadeau, who joined the Northeast mutual insurer in 1992, previously served as executive vice president with oversight of personal and commercial lines underwriting, product development, business intelligence, loss control, and reinsurance.
In his expanded role, Nadeau leads enterprise operations across underwriting, claims, marketing, innovation, business intelligence, digital experience, reinsurance, and IT services.
The company also appointed Patrick Duchette (pictured above, right) as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer.
Duchette, who joined The Andover Companies in 2008, has nearly 20 years of insurance experience with the organization. He previously served as director of personal lines underwriting and now oversees personal and commercial lines underwriting, product development, and loss control.

Church Mutual Insurance Company announced promotions for two members of its leadership team. Pam Rushing (pictured immediately above, left) has been promoted to chief operating officer, and Neil Ziegler (pictured immediately above, right) has been promoted to chief underwriting officer for admitted business.
Rushing, who joined Church Mutual in June 2023 as president of subsidiaries and chief underwriting officer, will focus on digital transformation, process efficiency, and operational consistency across claims and IT. She previously served as president of specialty property and casualty at The Hanover Insurance Group.

Ziegler joined Church Mutual in January 2025 as vice president of religious markets underwriting. He brings more than 20 years of underwriting and leadership experience, with a focus on strategy, distribution partnerships, and business growth.
In his new role, Ziegler oversees admitted underwriting strategy and execution. His responsibilities include broker guidance, risk selection, and long-term performance alignment with distribution and operations.
Alliant Insurance Services has hired Reed Anders as senior vice president within its employee benefits group. Based in Chicago, Anders will support growth and expansion efforts across Alliant Employee Benefits, including the newly formed Alliant Affinity practice.
Anders brings experience in large-scale integrations, operational modernization, and finance transformation. He has held senior finance and operational leadership roles within the insurance brokerage industry, including serving as CFO and COO of a national affinity business.
He began his career at a Big Four accounting firm and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University.
