CRC Benefits and World Insurance Associates have each announced key leadership appointments aimed at strengthening their broker and carrier relationships.
CRC Benefits has appointed Nick Gates (pictured above, left) as benefits sales executive in Arizona. Gates brings more than 12 years of experience in the health insurance sector, with a focus on simplifying healthcare and supporting brokers.
In his new position, Gates will work with brokers to provide benefits solutions, particularly in level-funded and employee benefit captive programs. His background in client service and understanding of broker needs is expected to support CRC Benefits’ ongoing efforts in the region.
“Nick’s passion for service and his ability to connect with brokers on a meaningful level make him a perfect fit for our team,” said Hadley Weiler, West Region regional vice oresident at CRC Benefits.
Weiler also said that the company looks forward to the impact Gates will have as CRC Benefits continues to grow and support broker partners.
Earlier this month, CRC Group also bolstered its Specialty unit with the promotion of Brennan Paris as chief revenue officer (CRO). Additionally, Paris also continues as president of CRC Select, the company’s binding operations.
World Insurance Associates LLC (World) has named Zach Posey (pictured above, right) as its new leader of market relationships. Posey will be responsible for engaging with contingent capital providers and insurers to develop solutions for clients, trading partners, and the organization. He is based in World’s Chicago office.
Before that, Posey spent a decade in Aon’s National Casualty practice, designing and managing complex casualty insurance programs across a range of industries. He holds an MBA from Fordham University and a BA from Colgate University.
“Zach will redefine how we engage with carrier partners given his analytical approach and strategic thinking,” said Tom Fitzgerald, president of World Retail.
Fitzgerald emphasized the importance of developing strong relationships with insurer partners to deliver results for clients and prospects, and expressed confidence in Posey’s immediate impact on the organization.
Last month, World expanded its Texas footprint with the acquisition of Abacus Insurance and Financial Services, based in Irving. The company focuses on commercial lines with niches in hotels, motels, and convenience stores, and provides some personal lines coverage.
