Tokio Marine Kiln has appointed Olivia Jackson as a cyber underwriter within its cyber and enterprise risk team.

Jackson joins from Liberty Specialty Markets, where she managed renewal portfolios and new business across multiple territories, industries and account sizes, including primary and excess coverage. At Liberty, she oversaw the MENA portfolio for the London and Dubai teams and developed strategic broker partnerships.

Her appointment comes as Tokio Marine strengthens its cyber capabilities following the launch of its flagship offering, TMK Cyber Ctrl, and the market-first Enterprise Ctrl product. Recent hires, including Cesar Silvestre as head of reinsurance solutions and Lucy Fraser as cyber risk analyst, highlight TMK's focus on expanding its comprehensive cyber offering to meet growing global demand.

Paul Gooch, deputy departmental head, said Jackson's experience across diverse portfolios and geographies, combined with her technical expertise and market relationships, will support TMK's aim of helping clients navigate an evolving cyber threat landscape. Her addition reinforces the insurer's commitment to building deep specialist expertise within its cyber team.

By expanding its teams across cyber, liability, and life sciences, TMK said that it is positioning itself to meet growing market demand, deliver comprehensive risk management solutions, and provide brokers with the expertise required to navigate an increasingly sophisticated insurance landscape.

In other areas of the business, Tokio Marine also recently appointed Adele Beresford as an underwriter in its life sciences team. She reports to head of life sciences Kirsten Shastri. This hire adds further depth to TMK’s underwriting expertise in a sector increasingly exposed to clinical trial liabilities, product recalls, and regulatory scrutiny, all of which require specialist knowledge.

In addition, TMK had also recruited Harry Gregory to its liability team, reporting to departmental head Oliver Delaney. Gregory, formerly at Marsh, brings experience managing multinational programmes across the energy, power, and renewables sectors, a line of business that has seen increased underwriting complexity due to rising litigation risks and evolving ESG expectations.
