AXA UK & Ireland and specialist Lloyd's broker New Dawn Risk have both announced senior appointments over the last 24hrs.
AXA UK & Ireland expands management committee
AXA UK & Ireland has added two members to its management committee. Amanda Vaughan has rejoined the business as chief people officer, while Louise Isaacs takes on the role of chief customer & communications officer. Both report directly to CEO Tara Foley.
Vaughan (pictured above, left) returns to AXA after nearly 12 years in senior HR roles across the group, including chief people officer at AXA Partners and chief talent & learning officer at AXA Group. Most recently, she was group general manager for culture capability & talent at Westpac Bank. She succeeds Suzanne Scott, who is leaving after a decade with the business.
Meanwhile, Isaacs (pictured above, centre), who joined in July, brings more than 20 years' international experience in marketing, communications and customer strategy, with senior positions at Barclays, Cigna and American Express. Her remit at AXA focuses on strengthening customer engagement and brand positioning.
New Dawn Risk strengthens claims team
Anthony Kerr has been appointed as senior client manager and claims advocate at New Dawn Risk. With more than 35 years of experience across Lloyd's and company markets, Kerr (pictured above, right) will focus on enhancing the firm's claims support for professional liability clients.
Kerr previously served as claims manager at Munitus Insurance and has held senior claims roles at St Paul Specialty Underwriting, Wellington Underwriting, Catlin, Brit and Beazley. His experience includes handling multi-jurisdictional claims for law firms, financial institutions, accountants and construction professionals.
