Arch Insurance creates new executive assurance role
Arch Insurance (EU) dac has appointed Julien Martins as head of executive assurance for France, a newly created position based in Paris.
Martins (pictured above) will be tasked with building out the insurer's executive assurance portfolio, offering directors & officers (D&O) coverage to corporates, SMEs and financial institutions across French-speaking markets, including France, Belgium, Monaco and Luxembourg.
DUAL Europe expands cyber leadership
DUAL Europe has strengthened its cyber business with a new leadership structure and a strategic hire. Marek Stanislawski has been appointed head of business development, cyber Europe, effective Sept. 3. Based in Stockholm, he will be responsible for developing scalable solutions and deepening broker partnerships.
The company has also promoted Erika Chemello and Johan Hedenstedt to head of cyber Southern Europe and head of cyber Northern Europe, respectively, effective Oct. 1. Chemello will oversee Italy and Ibérica, while Hedenstedt will lead the Nordics, Ireland and Benelux.
ISC Group names Aviva Ireland CEO as ambassador
ISC Group has appointed Declan O’Rourke, CEO of Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC, as its first male ambassador in Ireland.
O’Rourke, who has more than 30 years of insurance and financial services experience, previously served as president of the Insurance Institute of Ireland and held senior leadership roles at AIG across Ireland, the UK, the US and Latin America.
In his role, he will support ISC’s mission to drive sustainable cultural change and promote gender balance in financial services. ISC Group CEO Carmen Powell said his appointment underlines the importance of shared responsibility between men and women in building a more inclusive insurance sector.
