Aon has appointed Nick Nudo (pictured above) as the US casualty segment leader for its Reinsurance Solutions division.
Nudo will oversee the development of Aon’s casualty reinsurance strategy, focusing on product innovation and integrating market insights with client requirements across the casualty business.
Nudo previously served as a senior managing director within Reinsurance Solutions and has more than 20 years of experience in the re/insurance sector, including roles in broking, underwriting, and product development.
Before joining Aon, he spent almost 15 years at SCOR, where he held leadership roles such as chief underwriting officer of Reinsurance North America and chief underwriting officer of US Treaty Operations.
The appointment comes as Aon continues to reshape its leadership team within the Reinsurance Solutions division. In July, the firm announced a new leadership structure, naming Alfonso Valera as CEO of international for reinsurance, Steve Hofmann as CEO of Americas for reinsurance, George Attard as global head of strategy for reinsurance, and Tomas Novotny as chairman of international for reinsurance.
Hofmann said that Nudo has demonstrated the ability to guide strategic initiatives and drive product innovation.
“In his new role, his leadership skills and depth of experience will be instrumental in strengthening our market position, delivering exceptional value and shaping better decisions for our clients,” Hofmann said.
The company has also made other key leadership changes. Earlier this month, Aon named Anshuman Srivastava as global chief broking officer for reinsurance, based in London and reporting to George Attard. Srivastava’s new role includes aligning reinsurer capacity with evolving client needs and leveraging advanced data and analytics.
Earlier in the year, Aon appointed Soeren Soltysiak as CEO of reinsurance solutions for Asia. Soltysiak is responsible for leading strategy across the Asia-Pacific region, including treaty, facultative, analytics, and operations.
