iA Financial Group and its US subsidiaries have pledged US$75,000 (CAD$102,500) to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to support relief and recovery efforts following recent flash flooding in parts of Texas.

The contribution will help fund emergency response and long-term support for individuals and communities affected by flooding, including financial assistance, aid for evacuees and recovery initiatives in Kerr County and surrounding areas. The foundation is working with local partners to coordinate distribution of the funds based on community needs.

Flash flooding in the region was triggered by heavy rainfall, which caused rivers and streams to overflow, damaging homes, roads and infrastructure. Local authorities declared states of emergency as evacuation orders were issued and emergency responders conducted rescue operations. The scale of damage has placed significant pressure on local recovery efforts.

“Our hearts go out to the individuals, families and entire communities of Kerr County and surrounding areas who have been devastated by the recent flash flooding. We are profoundly saddened by the loss of life and the hardship so many are facing,” said Denis Ricard, president and CEO of iA Financial. “At this difficult time, we stand in solidarity with all those affected, and we are committed to offering meaningful support to help them begin to rebuild and recover.”

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country will use the donation to assist residents with urgent needs such as shelter, food and basic supplies, while also supporting longer-term recovery and resilience planning.

The Texas donation follows a separate $50,000 contribution by iA Financial Group earlier this year to the Canadian Red Cross in response to the 2025 Manitoba Wildfires Appeal.

“We want to express our support to the communities affected by the wildfires. We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives and the damage caused by these fires, and we want to offer our support to those who need it most,” said Ricard.

The Canadian Red Cross said the funds will help deliver immediate and ongoing assistance to those impacted by the wildfires, including financial aid, support for evacuees and recovery operations.

Headquartered in Québec City, iA Financial Group operates across Canada and the United States, offering insurance and wealth management services.
