iA Financial Group has been named one of Canada’s 50 Best Corporate Citizens for the second year in a row, according to Corporate Knights’ 2025 ranking.

The annual list evaluates large Canadian companies on a range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics.

Corporate Knights assessed firms with more than $1 billion in annual revenue using 25 performance indicators. These include resource management, sustainable investment and revenue, employee practices, financial management and supplier performance.

iA Financial was recognized for its performance in sustainable revenue, board gender diversity and employee wellbeing and development programs.

“Being recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Corporate Citizens is a source of pride for us, and a reminder of the importance of contributing to the wellbeing of our clients, employees and communities,” said Caroline Drouin, senior vice-president, Investor Relations, Sustainability and Public Affairs. “This recognition also reflects the dedication of our employees who are committed to advancing our sustainability journey.”

The company continues to focus on decarbonizing its investment portfolio and has supported the introduction of stricter climate-related regulations.

This latest recognition follows another recent ranking that placed iA Financial at the top of Canada’s auto insurance providers. In Forbes’ 2025 “World’s Best Auto Insurance Companies” list, which was compiled in partnership with Statista, iA Financial ranked highest among Canadian insurers.

That ranking was based on a global survey of over 45,000 consumers across 15 countries. Respondents were asked to evaluate insurers based on satisfaction, likelihood of recommendation, and five performance categories – advice, customer service, price-performance ratio, transparency and claims handling. Only individuals who had held an auto insurance policy in the past three years were eligible to participate.

iA Financial Group received the highest overall rating from customers across all measured criteria in the Canadian market.
