Yiana Stavrakis is President of Contract Binding, Personal Lines, and Lite Brokerage at SPG Wholesale. A dynamic leader with deep expertise in underwriting, claims management, and strategic growth, Yiana has played a pivotal role in SPG Wholesale’s national expansion and long-term strategy.

Previously, Yiana served as President of Monarch E&S Insurance Services, which joined Specialty Program Group in 2017 and now operates under the SPG Wholesale umbrella. Her leadership has been instrumental in integrating and scaling acquired entities, driving operational excellence and market reach.

Yiana began her insurance career at Metro Insurance Services, Inc., a real estate MGU, where she quickly advanced through roles in underwriting and claims. She later joined Preferred Concepts, LLC. following Metro’s acquisition, supporting underwriting teams and carrier relationships. Her transition into wholesale brokerage came via AmWINS Group, Inc., where she focused on developing strategic partnerships with retailers and carriers.

She holds a summa cum laude degree in Business Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Rutgers Business School. Yiana is a licensed property, casualty, and surplus lines insurance professional and holds both the CPCU and ASLI designations.

Yiana is an active industry leader, serving on the IBANY board and as co-founder and past president of NAPSLO’s Next Generation. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the NAPSLO Past President’s Award, the Steven R. Gross Under 40 Award, and IBANY’s First Emerging Leader Award. In 2022, she joined CHIEF, a private network for executive women leaders.

She has been recognized by Insurance Business America as one of the Hot 100, 100 Women to Watch, and was a finalist for the Woman of Distinction Award.
