Meka Moore

Meka Moore is a Founding Partner and Executive Committee member of the firm. She received the 2022 West Trailblazer Award from American Lawyer and was the founder and first President of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) of Los Angeles. Meka advises insurance companies on first- and third-party coverage matters across policies such as property-casualty, E&O, and general liability. She also defends insurers in high-profile cases involving mass torts, sexual abuse, complex extracontractual disputes, and fraud. Her deep expertise enables her to guide clients through challenging coverage issues, especially bad faith claims, while working closely with in-house counsel to resolve disputes collaboratively. She has contributed to key legal precedents in California, including Rios v. Superior Court and Adams v. Superior Court. Meka played a pivotal role in establishing NAAIA's LA chapter, supporting professionals of color in the insurance industry.
