Kate joins Heffernan Insurance Brokers with extensive experience in leading IT operations, strategy, and performance management. Most recently, Kate worked as an advisory consultant leading large scale system and business transformation projects in the financial services industry.
At Clorox, Kate successfully led the IT Performance Management team responsible for strategy, program management, vendor management, and outsourcing. Prior to this role, she was a product manager at Siebel Systems and was responsible for the strategy development of finance and consumer products industry solutions. She also led engineering teams to develop general available software.
Kate has held transformational roles at GE Capital in both corporate IT and was a program manager for the new start up business for Capital’s mutual fund business. Prior to GE Capital, she was a Change Management Consultant at Accenture delivering large scale business process re-engineering for ERP systems in the pharmaceutical and banking industry. Kate’s area of focus was process re-engineering and organization design for the Finance and Accounting function.
Kate holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in English from Smith College. She lives in Piedmont, Calif. with her husband and two sons. Outside of work Kate enjoys volunteering in the community as well as hiking and outdoor activities with her friends and family.
