Catherine is the Global Head of Cyber for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions business. In this role she is responsible for setting the strategy for the global cyber practice group, driving growth, building the team, and working closely with Aon’s Cyber Solutions Group. The practice group provides cyber reinsurance advisory service, dedicated and bespoke data and analytics, and expert advice on strategy and distribution. Prior to joining Aon in 2017, Catherine served as the Head of Professional Liability at Zurich North America where she managed the portfolios and teams underwriting Miscellaneous and Healthcare Professional Liability and Security & Privacy. Prior to Zurich, Catherine was an AVP at Chubb in the technology division. She later spent three years as a broker at William Gallagher Associates in New York. Catherine is a key contributor to the public sector dialogue around cyber insurance. She provided testimony on the state of the cyber insurance market at a 2015 hearing of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance and Data Security in Washington, D.C., and at a 2016 hearing of the White House Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. She also has presented to the Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance (FACI) and is a regular participant at Department of Homeland Security and Department of Treasury.
