Trucordia has completed its acquisition of First Texas Agency, a Houston-based insurance business. The deal expands the brokerage's footprint in Texas.
First Texas Agency serves individuals, families, and businesses in the Houston area, offering personal and commercial coverage options.
The First Texas Agency acquisition marks Trucordia's second Texas deal in recent months. The brokerage previously acquired Global Financial & Insurance Services, an insurance and financial services firm based in Irving, adding a multi-state insurance and financial planning platform to its portfolio.
Felix Morgan (pictured above), CEO of Trucordia, said the acquisition strengthens the company's position in the Texas market.
"Acquiring the First Texas Agency business strengthens our presence in Texas and helps us expand our focus on providing thoughtful, knowledgeable service to clients seeking tailored insurance solutions," Morgan said.
Morgan added that he expects the First Texas Agency team to contribute to the company's expansion plans. "I'm confident this team will be a positive addition as we continue to work together with every Trucordia business to reach our bold growth goals," he said.
First Texas Agency has built its business on a one-on-one client service model, focusing on matching coverage options to individual client needs. The agency provides both personal and commercial insurance products.

The Houston deal is part of Trucordia's broader multi-state acquisition strategy in 2025. The Boston-headquartered brokerage has completed transactions across Tennessee, Massachusetts, Arkansas, and New Jersey, including its acquisition of Osborn Insurance in Brick, New Jersey.
Trucordia has said its strategy centers on acquiring agencies that share its values of client-focused service and regional expertise.
