Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Parker-Haskins Insurance, an independent agency based in Dodge City, Kansas.

Parker-Haskins Insurance was founded in 1986 by Doug Parker and Donna Haskins. Over nearly four decades, the agency developed a reputation for serving the local community and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, some dating back to the mid-1990s. The agency’s staff includes several employees with more than 20 years of service.

Bill Tuley (pictured above, left), who joined Parker-Haskins while also working in agriculture, built his career in crop insurance and supported commercial and life and health clients. Another key team member, Sadie Wideman (pictured above, right), transitioned from accounting to a licensed insurance role, contributing to the agency’s growth in commercial lines and client service.

When considering a sale, Parker-Haskins Insurance prioritized stability for both employees and clients. Wideman said, “The fit wasn’t right to sell locally with other buyers in our area. Inszone offered the support, resources, and carrier access we needed, while still ensuring that our employees would be taken care of and our clients would continue receiving the same hometown service and attention they’ve always trusted.”

Wideman also noted that the decision to join Inszone was influenced by personal engagement from the company’s leadership. “Getting a letter from Chris and later a phone call from Ken started the conversation, but it was Chris taking the time to come out to Dodge City in person that really made a difference. It showed us the level of commitment and partnership Inszone brings to the table,” she said.

Parker-Haskins Insurance is recognized as one of the largest crop insurers in Western Kansas. The team will remain in Dodge City, now operating as part of Inszone and offering expanded resources for all lines of business.

“Parker-Haskins Insurance has built an exceptional legacy in Dodge City and throughout Western Kansas. Their deep expertise in crop insurance and their strong client relationships make them a natural fit for Inszone,” said Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services.

The acquisition is part of a broader expansion strategy for Inszone. Earlier this month, the company entered the Kentucky market through the acquisition of Lexington Insurance Agency, a well-established independent agency serving the region for more than 70 years.

This move followed Inszone’s entry into Montana in August with the acquisition of Rocky Mountain Insurance Group, a benefits-focused agency founded in 2006.
