ALKEME Insurance has announced the acquisition of USA Health Insurance, an agency based in Woodstock, Georgia, that provides health solutions for clients across the country.
Founded and led by Ted Officer and Sally McPherson, USA Health Insurance offers personal health insurance, Medicare plans and group benefits on a national scale. The agency combines financial planning and accounting expertise to help clients select plans suited to their needs.
ALKEME Insurance CEO Curtis Barton said the addition of USA Health Insurance aligns with the company’s goal of delivering comprehensive solutions nationwide. He said the agency’s client-focused approach and experience in health and group benefits support ALKEME’s strategy to strengthen its services for individuals, families, and businesses.
Through the acquisition, USA Health Insurance will gain access to ALKEME’s broader resources, carrier partnerships, and operational infrastructure while continuing to serve clients in Georgia and across the United States.
The acquisition follows a series of recent transactions that expand ALKEME’s national footprint. The company recently acquired Gorges & Company, Inc., a Timonium, Maryland-based agency that extends its presence in the Mid-Atlantic and enhances its ability to serve clients with specialized insurance requirements.
Established in 1937, Gorges & Company provides insurance products such as employee benefits, business and personal property and casualty coverage, nonprofit solutions, and Medicare plans.
ALKEME also recently expanded in the Midwest with the acquisition of Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance (SFD Insurance), a fourth-generation agency based in Marion, Iowa. Founded in 1902, SFD Insurance serves families and businesses in Marion, Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, and Iowa City. Led by president Scott Stephens and vice president Spencer Stephens, the agency offers personal and commercial insurance, including home, auto, business, and specialty lines.
