CFC has established a new US-based cyber development team and expanded its regional presence with the appointments of John Keebler (pictured above, left) and Morgan Justice (pictured above, right).
Keebler has been named national cyber development leader, USA, and will be based in Chicago. He will work with CFC’s US and London cyber underwriting and distribution teams to oversee strategic cyber initiatives, support broker partners in generating income from new cyber buyers, and maintain key broker relationships.
Keebler brings more than 15 years of experience in cyber insurance to the role. He previously served as national director for business development at Coalition.
Justice joins CFC as cyber development manager for the Western Region, USA. Justice, who was previously West Coast underwriting and business development leader at Coalition, will be based in the eastern San Francisco Bay Area and report to Keebler. Her responsibilities will include developing new broker relationships and supporting broker partners in growing their cyber portfolios in the western region.
CFC’s cyber development manager in New York, Annie Lyons, will also report to Keebler.
“Both John and Morgan bring an incredible amount of experience and maturity to these new roles and I’m confident that combining their skills with those that Annie has demonstrated over recent months will accelerate our growth ambitions in the US,” said Lindsey Maher, CFC’s head of global cyber development.
Maher said that the creation of the US-focused cyber development team is intended to provide dedicated resources to help brokers succeed. “John, Morgan and Annie will act as CFC’s key decision makers on the ground to provide a fast turnaround as well as support the more complex deals and deliver on specific projects for our partners.”
In addition to these appointments, CFC has made further changes to its leadership structure this year. The company appointed Alex Moon as group general counsel, bringing over two decades of experience to head CFC’s legal and governance functions.
CFC also introduced its first senior job share in March, appointing Lisa Sumner and Dharini Patel as joint marketing directors.
CFC’s recent expansion includes establishing a direct presence in the US, Canada, Australia, and continental Europe, supplementing its London headquarters. The company’s international growth has been supported by a $1.7 billion debt refinancing, aimed at reducing its cost of capital and supporting further expansion.
