World Insurance Associates LLC has acquired Lighthouse Insurance Agency, a Louisiana-based firm, in a deal that closed on March 1, 2025. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Madisonville, Lighthouse provides a range of personal and commercial insurance products. Its portfolio includes coverage for homeowners, automobiles, and businesses such as restaurants, medical offices, engineering firms, contractors, condominium associations, and retail centers.

The deal expands World’s presence in Louisiana. “The addition of Lighthouse further expands our presence in Louisiana, and I look forward to their continued success,” said Rich Eknoian, CEO and co-founder of World.
The transaction follows a series of recent acquisitions by World. On December 1, 2024, the firm acquired Archambault Insurance Associates, a third-generation family-owned agency serving clients in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Founded in 1928, Archambault offers personal, commercial, life and health, and surety insurance.
World also completed the acquisition of Owens Insurance Agency Inc. and Stokes-Farnham Insurance Agency Inc., both located in Greer, South Carolina, on April 1, 2024. Owens Insurance, founded in 1952, and Stokes-Farnham Insurance, established in 1954, provide a variety of personal and commercial insurance services across the region.
World was represented in the Lighthouse transaction by legal counsel Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla and received advisory support from TAG Consulting Services. Satin and Lee Law P.C. provided legal counsel to Lighthouse, with Sica Fletcher serving as its advisor. No other parties were disclosed.
