The United Services Automobile Association (USAA) has extended its sponsorship of the Army-Navy Games for another five years.

USAA’s current sponsorship is set to end next year, but the new contract will provide sponsorship rights through 2030.

The extension includes various initiatives aimed at improving the game-day experience not only for the players but for fans and participants worldwide, including special events, promotion and community outreach.

Wayne Peacock, president and chief executive of USAA, said that the Army-Navy Game is “one of the most storied rivalries” in college football but the camaraderie between the players shines through. “These two teams are rivals on the field but, in the end, they are one team in defending our great nation.”

Peacock was earlier announced to be retiring in the first half of next year, following his 36-year stint with the company.

Both institutions expressed gratitude for USAA’s continued sponsorship.

Mike Buddie, director of athletics at the United States Military Academy, said that USAA’s support for the Army-Navy Game shows its “unwavering commitment” to both institutions and those who serve the country.

“As we prepare to face our Navy counterparts on the field, we are proud to stand alongside USAA in celebrating the strength, resilience and pride that this game represents,” he said.

Chet Gladchuk, director of athletics at the United States Naval Academy, echoed Buddie. He said that USAA has become synonymous with the games, and that they are “immeasurably proud” to extend the partnership.

“USAA’s sponsorship is about more than the game; it’s also a recognition and celebration of these men and women and their service,” Peacock said.

The 2024 Army-Navy Game was held at the Northwest Stadium in Landover. Next year, the game is set to take place on Dec. 13, 2025, at the M&T Stadium in Baltimore.

USAA, which was founded by a group of military officers, provides insurance, banking and retirement solutions to members of the US military. The company said it contributes to national and local nonprofits each year to support military families and communities.

In September, USAA donated $1 million to three nonprofit organizations that are helping communities and families recover from Hurricane Helene.
