Insurance Business America (IBA) has published its annual list of top-performing insurance networks and alliances in the US for 2025.
The announcement comes at a time when insurance agents are navigating rapid changes in distribution, increased digitalization, and the growing influence of data and artificial intelligence across the industry.
Networks have become a strategic resource for agents seeking to stay competitive. By joining these groups, agents can access shared data resources and benefit from collective branding and marketing initiatives.
Network structures vary, with some offering agents the ability to keep full commissions in exchange for a monthly fee, while others operate on a commission-sharing basis without upfront costs. Recent political developments have also played a role in shaping the incentives for network participation.

In 2025, 88.3% of respondents cited this as their main reason, an increase from 75% in the previous year. This shift underscores the challenges agents face in meeting evolving client demands and the importance of maintaining a robust product portfolio.
To determine the top networks and alliances, IBA surveyed agents nationwide, requesting feedback on a range of performance metrics.
Networks were rated on a scale from 1 (poor) to 10 (excellent) across ten categories, including:
Networks that achieved an average score of 8 or higher in at least one category were recognized with a 5-star rating. Those that met this threshold across all categories received an all-star distinction.
The 2025 honorees include organizations such as:
