Insurance Business has published its 2025 list of Top Insurance Brokers and Agents in the US, naming individuals who were nominated and rated by clients and industry peers for their service and advisory role.
The 2025 ranking stems from Insurance Business’s third annual national program focused on identifying brokers and agents who are regarded as trusted advisors by their clients. The research phase ran from July 14 to August 8, during which Insurance Business conducted an outreach and survey initiative across its US readership.
Using its database of insurance professionals and readers, Insurance Business invited participants to nominate brokers and agents they work with and to provide structured feedback on their performance. Respondents were asked to assess nominees against six key criteria designed to capture the quality and consistency of their client service.
To be included on the Top Insurance Brokers and Agents list, nominees needed both strong support from nominators and high evaluation scores. Those who received the greatest number of nominations and achieved an average score of at least eight were named to the final list.
The ranking was not tied to production volume or revenue. Instead, it was built around how brokers and agents serve their clients, including their accessibility, responsiveness, technical guidance, and overall reliability as ongoing points of contact.
