Texas Mutual sharpens talent and brand focus
Austin-based Texas Mutual has named Brittany Cullison (pictured, left) senior vice president of talent and brand strategy, effective Jan. 12.
Cullison brings more than 15 years of experience driving transformation in enterprise organizations and leading both human resources and brand functions. She most recently served as chief people officer at Nutrabolt, where she led global human relations, corporate communications and employer brand management.

ACORD reinforces standards leadership in life and London market
Standards body ACORD has moved to reinforce its leadership bench as it pushes digitalization and data standards across the global insurance market. The organization has named Yolanda Austin (pictured, center) as vice president of standards engagement and Clarissa Montecillo (pictured, right) as managing director, UK.
As vice president of standards engagement, Austin will lead ACORD members through its standards, programs, resources and services, while ensuring these assets continue to align with business needs and support the success of the industry. A
Austin has over 30 years of experience in insurance, including nearly two decades at Lincoln Financial Group, where she led technology infrastructure efforts, engaged with industry working groups and worked to improve data standards.
As managing director, UK, Montecillo will spearhead all ACORD operations within the UK, guiding the development, adoption and governance of ACORD Standards regionally. Her work will focus on delivering tangible benefits to stakeholders operating within the London Market and throughout the region.
Montecillo has more than 20 years of experience in the London market as a business analyst for Lloyd's, AXA, and DXC Technology, among others. For the past four years as head of global reinsurance & large commercial at ACORD, she has driven modernization and advanced data standards across the UK market, improving efficiency, transparency and collaboration.
Novi Underwriters builds out management liability platform
Jason Binette, James Cinque and Cody Ruggirello have joined Novi Underwriters to lead the company's newly launched management liability offering.
Binette has over 20 years of management liability underwriting experience, combining technical precision with product innovation and deep broker relationships. Prior to joining Novi, he led the employment practices liability division at AmTrust Financial, where he managed underwriting operations for both standalone and integrated EPLI products across commercial lines.
Meanwhile, Cinque adds another two decades of expertise, blending analytical rigor with strategic growth. Prior to joining Novi, he served as assistant vice president at ANV Global Services, where he managed teams and results across a diverse portfolio of not-for-profit, privately held and publicly traded companies.
Ruggirello brings more than 10 years of specialty lines underwriting experience. Prior to joining Novi, he served as underwriting manager at ANV Global Services, where he spearheaded efforts to strengthen profitability while supporting clients across not-for-profit, private and public sectors.
