Two major players in the specialty insurance market have announced senior leadership changes.
HDI Global names engineering lines & construction lead
HDI Global Insurance Company, the US carrier of international insurer HDI Global, has appointed Ralph Christy (pictured) as engineering lines & construction lead.
Christy, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, will be responsible for driving growth and strengthening HDI’s brand presence in this core underwriting segment. Based in Rhode Island, he will report to Kai Brueggemann, head of US marine & engineering lines.
Ryan Specialty names co-presidents
Ryan Specialty Holdings has appointed Steve Keogh, chief operating officer, and Brendan Mulshine, chief revenue officer, as co-presidents of the company.
Both will continue reporting to CEO Tim Turner. The move follows the transition of Jeremiah Bickham, who steps down as president to serve as a strategic advisor through the end of 2025.
Founder and executive chairman Pat Ryan said the appointments highlight the company’s depth of executive leadership. Turner added that both executives have made “significant contributions” and will help maintain the company’s growth momentum.
Keogh joined Ryan Specialty in May 2025 and brings more than 30 years of industry experience, including senior roles at Aon. Mulshine, who joined the company in 2012, also has over three decades of experience.
