Insurance firms across the US and Bermuda have announced a series of senior appointments.
RT Specialty expands environmental and construction practice
RT Specialty's Hamilton, New Jersey office, part of the Environmental and Construction Professional (RT ECP) practice, has hired three new insurance specialists to bolster its national capabilities.
Jennifer Jordan, Jeremy Michel, and Alicia Myers (pictured top, left to right) bring backgrounds in commercial property and casualty, claims management, and environmental consulting.
Jeff Slivka, president of RT ECP, said the additions will help the practice address construction-related professional and environmental liability challenges while continuing to grow market share.
King Risk Partners names Florida regional president

King Risk Partners has appointed Tom Beck (pictured immediately above) as regional president for Florida. Beck, who previously led McGriff’s Florida operations, has nearly 20 years of experience in insurance leadership and a record of driving growth in the state.
Pete Gilbertson, president of King Risk Partners, said Beck’s leadership will be key to strengthening the firm’s expansion in Florida, one of the nation’s most competitive insurance markets.
WTW adds senior leaders to Bermuda Insurance Consulting and Technology unit
WTW has appointed Piero Falcucci as director within its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business in Bermuda.
Falcucci, a co-founder of Triangle Life and former chief actuary and chief risk officer, has extensive experience in reinsurance structuring, capital optimization, and the Bermuda life insurance sector.
In addition, Mandia Moyo has joined as associate director after serving at the Bermuda Monetary Authority. Moyo’s background includes pricing, reserving, and capital management, providing regulatory and technical expertise to WTW’s Bermuda operations.
Hippo strengthens board with two appointments
Insurtech company Hippo has added Laura Hay and Susan Holliday to its board of directors. Both will serve on multiple committees, contributing expertise in audit, risk, compliance, and governance.
Hay, the former global head of insurance at KPMG International, currently serves on the boards of MetLife, Everest Group, and the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. Holliday, a former Swiss Re executive and World Bank advisor, has held board roles across reinsurance and fintech markets, with a focus on risk oversight and governance maturity.
Hippo president and CEO Rick McCathron said their combined experience will guide the company through its next phase of growth and innovation.
