Several insurance companies have announced new executive appointments.
Northwestern Mutual has announced the appointment of Beth Rodenhuis as executive vice president, chief operating officer and business architect. She will oversee technology and digital strategy, strategic execution and operating model design.
Rodenhuis (pictured above, left) has more than a decade of experience at Northwestern Mutual, having most recently served as senior vice president and head of global digital products and capabilities at Capital Group. From 2005 to 2019, she held multiple leadership roles at Northwestern Mutual, including as chief transformation officer.
Lockton has appointed Hiram Marrero as president and chief growth officer for its US operations. In this newly created role, Marrero will support the company’s growth strategy across geographic and industry sectors.
Marrero (pictured above, right), who joined Lockton in 2016, brings 25 years of insurance experience, focusing on recruiting, onboarding and developing talent while promoting the firm’s people-first culture. He is based in Miami, Florida.
The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers has appointed Michael Spirakis as national sales training and development leader.
Spirakis has over 25 years in the insurance industry with extensive leadership and mentorship experience. He has worked closely with top independent agencies and held senior roles in sales and operations.
Prior to joining Liberty, Spirakis was president of Producer Activity LLC, leading sales training and prospecting programs for over 1,000 commercial producers.
Alliant Insurance Services has named Steven Money as assistant vice president in its employee benefits group.
Money has over 20 years of industry experience, specializing in employee health and benefits strategies for middle-market companies.
