Several major insurance and brokerage firms have announced senior leadership changes.
First off, Lockton has promoted Paul Primavera (pictured above, left) to lead its national construction practice. Based in Los Angeles, he will report to Chris DiLullo and is tasked with guiding the firm’s US construction strategy. His responsibilities include expanding client engagement and overseeing the development of operational resources nationwide.
Primavera has spent over 16 years with Lockton. He most recently held the role of national risk control services practice leader, where he advised clients on claims and risk exposures. His career spans decades in the construction industry, and he regularly contributes insights on topics such as construction risk, claims, and loss control.
Lockton’s construction practice is its largest specialty area, with more than 300 associates.
Earlier this month, the brokerage also promoted Sarah Downey to lead its US professional and executive risk practice.
Meanwhile, Hiscox USA has appointed Adam Denninger (pictured above, right) as chief operating officer. He will report to Hiscox USA CEO Mary Boyd and join the US leadership team. Denninger will be responsible for operations across strategy, transformation, data, and delivery.
Denninger brings over 25 years of experience to the role. He previously served as Capgemini’s global industry leader for insurance and held leadership roles at EIS Group, the Hartford, and AIG. His academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in history from Western Connecticut State University, along with MBA and JD degrees from the University of Connecticut.
A few months ago, Hiscox also bolstered its ranks with the appointment of Nick Mabunay as senior vice president and head of digital partnerships.
Integrity LLC has appointed Said Taiym as its new COO. Taiym will oversee operations and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.
Taiym joins from Lockton Companies, where he served as US COO after initially joining as chief digital officer in 2018. During his tenure, he helped drive the company’s revenue growth from $1 billion to $4 billion.
Prior to Lockton, he held executive positions at AF Group and XL Group, and technology roles at Zurich North America and Accenture. At Accenture, Taiym managed large-scale insurtech transformations for major insurance carriers. He holds degrees in management information systems and finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
ReSource Pro has named Eugene Hugh as chief financial officer. He will oversee the company’s accounting, financial planning, tax, treasury, legal, and mergers and acquisitions operations.
Hugh most recently served as CFO at Procure Analytics, where he led acquisition strategies and introduced AI tools for managing data sets. His previous experience includes a 15-year tenure at Intercontinental Exchange, where he contributed to over 15 acquisitions and major transformation initiatives across global finance functions.
Unum Group has appointed Andrew Walker as chief customer operations officer. He will report to CEO Rick McKenney and oversee customer delivery teams, partnering across departments to align with the company’s broader mission.
Walker’s experience spans customer care, risk and technology, procurement, and regulatory functions. He has worked in both operational and advisory capacities and has served on multiple boards, including the Catholic Foundation of Columbus and IBM’s Board of Advisors.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Herbert Lehman College and completed additional executive education at Vanderbilt University.
