Several firms have announced insurance appointments over the last 24hrs.
The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers has appointed Brittany Montoya as vice president, producer at Liberty Naranjo, its Northern California office.
Based in Las Vegas, Montoya (pictured above) brings expertise in homeowners’ and community associations, as well as complex property risks.
Montoya’s background spans from managing HOAs to senior leadership in community management. She previously served at USI Insurance Services and is active in industry organizations.
Alliant Insurance Services has named Mike Chalmers as senior vice president and director of Total Rewards Consulting, enhancing the firm’s employee benefits group.
Chalmers’ remit will include expanding Alliant Human Capital, a division dedicated to workforce strategy and employee benefits optimization.
With experience across Fortune 500 companies and advisory roles, Chalmers’ expertise in M&A integration, organizational design and international growth is expected to broaden Alliant’s benefits capabilities.
Wholesale broker XPT Specialty has launched operations in Atlanta and North Carolina, supported by three new underwriters: Will Pinson, Janet Christenberry, and Charles Bethishou. Each brings established regional knowledge and strong carrier relationships, bolstering XPT’s commercial lines and E&S capabilities.
The expansion comes as the insurance sector faces a projected loss of nearly 400,000 workers by 2026, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
