Three major insurance firms - ICW Group Insurance Companies, King Risk Partners, and EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants – have announced senior leadership changes.

Chief claims officer at ICW Group

ICW Group Insurance Companies has named Lynn Moretti (pictured left) as chief claims officer to oversee the company’s national claims operations and internal teams. Her responsibilities include directing claims strategy to drive operational efficiency and maintaining service quality across ICW Group’s commercial and specialty lines.

Moretti has over 25 years of experience in claims management, having held senior roles at AmTrust Financial, Selective Insurance, and Liberty Mutual. She most recently served as chief claims officer for AmTrust Specialty, where she managed international operations across the UK and European Union and introduced a centralized model for claims processes. New CEO of King Risk Partners

King Risk Partners appointed Scott Popilek (pictured center) as chief executive officer, while company founder Malcolm “Chad” King transitions to the role of chairman.

King will continue leading the firm’s mergers and acquisitions strategy and work with Popilek and senior executives Howard Weiss, Joel Eubanks, and Ali Omar.

Popilek, formerly Atlantic region leader at Risk Strategies, brings experience in brokerage operations and strategic planning.

"I'm honored to join King Risk Partners and build upon what Chad and the team have accomplished," said Popilek. "Our mission to empower agency partners to create greater value for their employees, clients, carrier partners, and communities is at the heart of why King was founded.”

EPIC’s appointment for transportation and logistics practice

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants has announced the appointment of Kristy Neal (pictured right) as senior vice president for strategic development in its Transportation & Logistics practice.

Based in Vacaville, California, she reports to Scott Davis, president of national specialties. Neal will focus on integrating EPIC’s risk and insurance services for freight brokers, forwarders, and passenger transport providers.

Neal has more than 17 years of experience in logistics and insurance, having served as head of growth at Loadsure and head of enterprise business at Cover Whale. Her role will involve developing technology partnerships, client engagement programs, and transportation risk management tools.

How do you think these leadership transitions will influence client relationships and strategic direction across the insurance industry?
