A host of senior appointments and promotions have been announced across the insurance and broader financial services sector, spanning private client broking, specialty MGAs, marketing, distribution and board-level roles.

HUB builds high‑net‑worth firepower in California

HUB International has appointed Brandon Hetrick (pictured, left) as vice president and private client risk advisor in Newport Beach, California, as the brokerage continues to grow its private client footprint across North America.

Hetrick, who brings 25 years of experience, will focus on complex personal insurance and risk management for high-net-worth families. He previously worked at AssuredPartners and State Farm.

IICF Northeast names chair

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) has appointed Sarah Gavlick (pictured, center) as chair of its Northeast Division board of directors. 

Gavlick is an executive vice president, carrier relations and client distribution at Jencap Group. She has more than 30 years of experience in underwriting, marketing and distribution. She previously worked at Markel, where she held various roles, including regional president -- Northeast, chief territory officer -- East and chief retail officer.

Hinterland strengthens specialty underwriting leadership

Hinterland Insurance, an MGA and program administrator focused on hard‑to‑place risks, has named Evan Krozy (pictured, right) as chief underwriting officer and Kristine Harding as executive vice president, commercial package & property, effective Feb. 2, 2026.

Krozy, with more than 25 years of experience across underwriting, specialty lines, programs and operations, was most recently COO at Frederick Mutual. He also previously held senior underwriting roles at Ascot Group and The Hanover. 

Meanwhile, Harding brings 17 years of underwriting and brokerage experience. She was most recently a senior account executive and property speciality at Lockton.

RT Specialty promotes four in environmental and construction practice

RT Specialty's Hamilton, N.J. office, which is part of the company's Environmental and Construction Professional (RT ECP) practice, has promoted four staff: Mayuri Rastogi (pictured immediately above, left) to senior account manager; Aaron Roland (pictured immediately above, center left) to account executive; AJ Donaldson (pictured immediately above, center right) to account manager; and Daniel Wilhelm (pictured immediately above, right) to assistant vice president.

Rastogi joined the company in 2023 and recently completed the ARM designation; Roland joined in 2022 and focuses on environmental casualty. Meanwhile, Donaldson came aboard in 2023 from a quality assurance role, while Wilhelm, who was with RT ECP since 2018, has progressed through several roles to AVP.

Hagerty, FMG add senior marketing and revenue leaders

Hagerty has promoted Marc Burns to chief marketing officer and appointed former AT&T executive Matt Teshera (pictured immediately above) as SVP of marketing. 

Burns will lead brand building and integration of the membership experience across the company's insurance, marketplace, media and events businesses. Teshera will oversee marketing strategy, membership, insights and marcom.

Meanwhile, FMG has hired Matt Newman as chief revenue officer. Newman will lead sales, customer success and revenue operations across FMG and Agency Revolution. He previously served as CRO at Hearsy, and has held senior roles at ISS and RiskMetrics.

Radian and Prudential appoint new board members

Radian Group Inc. has appointed veteran insurance executive Seraina Macia (pictured immediately above) to its board of directors.

Macia, who has more than 35 years’ industry experience, is currently a senior advisor to Warburg Pincus’s financial services group, specializing in the P&C sector. Her previous roles include EVP at AIG and CEO of its technology‑focused subsidiary Blackboard Insurance, EVP & CEO of AIG Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), president of specialties at Zurich Insurance North America, CEO of XL North America.

Meanwhile, Prudential Financial announced that Maryann Mannen has been elected to its board of directors as an independent director, effective May 12, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.

Mannen is chairman, president and CEO of Marathon Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiary MPLX LP, and brings more than 30 years of operational and financial experience in the global energy sector. At Marathon Petroleum, she previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Before joining Marathon Petroleum, Mannen was EVP and CFO of FMC Technologies, where she played a key role in negotiating and completing the merger with Technip SA and then served as EVP and CFO of the combined company, TechnipFMC.

Mount Logan names CFO and corporate secretary

Mount Logan Capital Inc. has appointed Brandon Satoren as chief financial officer and corporate secretary, effective April 1, 2026. He will succeed Nikita Klassen, who will remain CFO through March 31.

Satoren currently serves as CFO across Mount Logan’s retail credit platform, including BCP Investment Corporation and several public interval funds and affiliated finance vehicles managed by Mount Logan’s advisers. He joined the platform in May 2021, having previously worked at PennantPark as vice president and controller and earlier at AQR Capital Management and PwC’s asset management assurance practice.
