Several insurers and intermediaries have announced key leadership appointments, with roles spanning business transformation, underwriting, people strategy,  and retirement consulting, among others.

HDI Global names business transformation lead

HDI Global Insurance Company (HGIC), the US carrier of international corporate & specialty insurer HDI Global, has appointed Himadri Trivedi as business transformation lead.

In this role, Trivedi (pictured, left) will bridge IT and business teams to drive enterprise-wide transformation, strengthen governance, and deliver value-based outcomes. She will be based at the company’s US headquarters in Chicago, reporting to Kashif Syed, chief information and transformation officer.

Trivedi joins from Ambridge Insurance, where she was product manager for claims management applications and data architecture. She said she looks forward to supporting HDI’s growth ambitions and strengthening its role as a transformation partner.

ICW Group launches specialty unit

ICW Group Insurance Companies has appointed Tracey Estes as chief underwriting officer of ICW Specialty, a newly formed business unit that includes VerTerra Insurance, the company’s excess and surplus lines carrier. Estes will lead the development of the unit, with excess casualty expected to be the first product launched in 2026.

Estes (pictured, center) brings more than 20 years of insurance experience, including leadership roles at MSIG USA, Arch Insurance, and AIG. She will be based in Atlanta.

Mark Moitoso, president of ICW Group, said the specialty unit is central to the company’s diversification strategy, while Estes noted her focus will be on collaboration, accountability, and underwriting discipline.

Guidewire appoints chief people officer

Guidewire has named Brigette McInnis-Day as chief people officer, reporting to chief executive officer Mike Rosenbaum. She will oversee global people and enterprise business operations, focusing on building a high-performance culture to support innovation.

McInnis-Day (pictured, right) previously served as chief people officer at UiPath and has held senior leadership roles at Google Cloud, SAP, VerticalNet, and Mercer. Rosenbaum said her experience in scaling organizations and embedding AI in operations would support Guidewire’s innovation agenda.

Alliant expands benefits and retirement teams

Alliant Insurance Services has added Robyn Lalli as vice president in its employee benefits group. Based in Phoenix, she will advise organizations on strengthening benefits programs, with a focus on cost savings, compliance, and employee engagement.

Alliant Retirement Consulting has also appointed Adriana Courts as vice president. Based in the Pacific Northwest, she will deliver retirement plan strategies across governance, investment oversight, and participant engagement.

Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant employee benefits, and Jay Laschinger, executive vice president of retirement consulting, both said the hires strengthen the firm’s client capabilities.

NFP grows construction practice in Kansas City

NFP, an Aon company, has appointed Katie Griffin as vice president of construction & infrastructure for its central region. Based in Kansas City, she will report to Brendan Sullivan, senior vice president.

Griffin joins from IMA Financial Group and previously worked at Holmes Murphy & Associates. She holds an MBA from Drake University and multiple professional designations.

Sullivan said Griffin’s experience in middle-market construction will support NFP’s strategy to expand its Kansas City operations into a new construction hub.
