Insurance moves: Everest Group, Patriot Growth, Trucordia, Mutual of America and Roots

Several companies in the insurance and risk management sector have announced key executive appointments and board additions.

Everest Group appoints Darryl Page to board

Everest Group has named Darryl Page (pictured above, left) as an independent, non-executive board member. Page brings more than 40 years of experience, including leadership roles at Chubb, Fireman’s Fund and Allstate.

At Chubb, he managed a large international portfolio and developed agency distribution strategies across multiple continents. He also focused on leadership programs supporting diverse talent.

John Graf, Everest’s recently appointed chairman, highlighted Page’s expertise in scaling profitable insurance businesses globally and noted the value of his experience in culture development for Everest’s strategic goals.

Ian Larson named president of Patriot Growth’s individual health division

Patriot Growth Insurance Services has announced Ian Larson as president of its individual health business.

Larson, who joined Patriot in 2019, will continue serving as general counsel while overseeing strategy and operations for the division. His leadership is expected to drive innovation amid ongoing market transformation.

John Galaviz, Patriot’s president and CFO, described Larson as a key figure in the company’s growth with deep legal and business expertise suitable for advancing the individual health platform.

Trucordia enhances leadership team to support growth and integration

Trucordia has implemented several leadership changes to back its growth strategy and platform rollout, which reorganizes business units by geography and sector.

The company has appointed senior vice presidents to lead regional platforms and business sectors, with Michael Moran continuing as chief operating officer.

Rocky Steele has transitioned from SVP of operations to SVP of business development to focus on mergers and acquisitions as well as community and government relations. Brooke K. DeWyze moved to SVP of sales operations, overseeing sales and client operations aligned with Trucordia’s sales methodology.

CEO Felix Morgan said these appointments will help the company scale, integrate, and grow efficiently.

Mutual of America names CFO

Mutual of America Financial Group named Christine Janofsky (pictured above, right) as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Janofsky brings over 25 years of experience, including CFO roles at Nassau Financial Group and senior finance positions at several insurance and financial firms.

Roots appoints head of insurance to lead AI integration

Roots has named Robin Spaulding as head of insurance.

Spaulding brings more than 30 years of experience across property and casualty insurance, claims, and consulting. She will lead efforts to modernize claims and underwriting processes and accelerate AI adoption.

Roots CEO Chaz Perera noted Spaulding’s comprehensive industry background and strategic insight will support the company’s expansion of agentic AI applications across the insurance sector.
