Starkweather & Shepley adds John Zito to employee benefits team
Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage has appointed John Zito (pictured, left) as an account executive on its Employee Benefits team.
In his new role, Zito will support clients across various industries, helping them navigate complex employee benefits, compliance requirements and workforce well-being initiatives. He will collaborate with the firm's existing team to strengthen advisory and consultative services.
Chris Nadeau, director of employee benefits, said that Zito brings a fresh perspective that will immediately enhance the solutions delivered to clients, reflecting the firm's commitment to expanding its capabilities and providing high-quality service.
Amica Mutual announces leadership changes
Amica Mutual Insurance Co. has announced several executive leadership changes effective Jan. 1.
Chief human resources officer Sam Palmisano (pictured, right) will succeed retiring chief operations officer Ted Murphy, who is leaving after 45 years of service and a lasting impact on the company and its employees.
Following Palmisano’s promotion, Scott Boyd, currently vice president of human resources, will assume the role of chief of HR.
These changes aim to ensure leadership continuity, maintain operational excellence, and support the company’s focus on employee engagement and organizational growth.
