CRC Group and Jencap Group have announced separate senior appointments aimed at expanding their binding operations and strengthening regional leadership across key US markets.
CRC Group expands Select Division in California
CRC Group has appointed Joe Jurkovich (pictured, left) as Select Division office president in Fresno, California, as part of its continued investment in the state.
The move supports CRC Specialty’s strategy to expand local expertise and deepen service capabilities for retail partners, particularly across California’s Central Valley.
Jurkovich will launch and lead operations for the Select binding division in Fresno. He brings more than a decade of insurance industry experience and is recognized for his focus on talent development and long-term partnership building.
The office expansion is intended to bring CRC’s national scale, market relationships and people-focused culture closer to retail agents in the region, while also creating opportunities for industry professionals seeking growth-oriented roles.
Dan Kennedy, managing director of field operations for CRC Select, said Jurkovich’s track record in building and leading teams makes him well suited to establish the Fresno operation and drive momentum for the division.
Jencap appoints new P&C binding manager
Jencap Group has named John Michael Edge (pictured, right) as manager of its property and casualty binding teams in Atlanta, Charlotte and Denver.
Edge joins Jencap from Amwins, where he spent 10 years, including helping to build its Florida Access office. Most recently, he worked with Jupiter Re on its large property program team. Edge brings experience in binding authority and transactional brokerage, as well as a background in building and scaling binding teams. In his new role, he will oversee multiple regional teams as Jencap continues to grow its P&C binding platform.
Mike Gallagher, Jencap executive vice president of P&C Binding, said Edge’s expertise will support the company’s strategic goals and enhance value delivered to clients and internal teams.
Edge said he is focused on working closely with retail and carrier partners while building on the existing foundations of Jencap’s Southeast and Mountain region teams to support continued growth.
