A string of senior leadership changes have been announced across the US insurance sector.
Amwins’ brokerage division has elevated Bob Black (pictured) to national property practice leader, effective July 1, 2025. He will co-lead the national property practice alongside Harry Tucker and Jessica Zuiker.
With more than 20 years at Amwins, Black has led large property underwriting teams. As part of the leadership handoff, Adam Terry will take over the real estate practice and Black will transition his book to other brokers.
CAC Group has appointed John Ludwig to the newly created position of president and chief growth officer.
Ludwig will oversee strategy, sales and market growth, positioning CAC to capitalize on its specialty brokerage strengths and expanding footprint.

CSAA Insurance Group has named Bradley Lontz as EVP and CIO to lead its digital transformation agenda.
Lontz joins from CopperPoint Insurance, where he implemented enterprise-scale cloud systems. His prior CIO roles at Liberty Mutual, Nautilus Insurance and the California Dental Association involved launching e-commerce platforms, data analytics solutions and agile delivery models to drive operational efficiency.
