Texas-based independent insurance agency Hotchkiss Insurance has added three new partners to its leadership team: Riley Dearing, Jessica Goehring, and Heather Etheredge.

Dearing oversees operations in West Texas for the Hotchkiss Benefits Division. He joined the firm following the 2023 merger of Hotchkiss and InCore Group, a company he founded.

Dearing holds a degree in agricultural economics from Oklahoma State University and brings experience from various industries to his current role in employee benefits and regional development.

Goehring serves as vice president of affinity programs and has been with Hotchkiss Insurance for over 20 years. She leads the agency’s association partnerships, niche programs, and external marketing strategy. Her responsibilities include campaign execution and relationship management with industry partners and clients.

Etheredge, vice president of human resources, has also been with the firm for more than two decades. Her work has focused on internal operations and organizational development, including the integration of tools such as the Culture Index and updated recruitment strategies. She manages talent acquisition and employee retention efforts across the firm.

The acquisition of InCore Group in late 2023 marked a key step in Hotchkiss’s regional growth strategy. InCore operated across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, with a focus on employee benefits consulting.

The merger broadened Hotchkiss’s presence in the southwestern US and brought Dearing into the organization’s leadership structure, where he continues to oversee the West Texas market.

Hotchkiss Insurance employs more than 200 staff across five offices and serves a broad client base in industries such as construction, real estate, hospitality, and professional services.

CEO Mike Hotchkiss (pictured above) said the three individuals are being recognized for their leadership and contribution to the company’s direction.

"We are honored to welcome Riley, Jessica, and Heather as partners," Hotchkiss said. "Together, their expertise and vision will help ensure Hotchkiss continues protecting what's possible – for our clients, our people, and our communities.
