Freeway Insurance, a division of Confie, has expanded its franchise network with the addition of six new locations in the most recent quarter.
The company, which operates in 28 states, has seen its franchise footprint grow by 270% over the past two years, reaching more than 53 locations.
“We've built a franchise program that's both affordable and impactful - designed for people who want to own a business while delivering a much-needed service to their communities,” said Alex Trachtman, senior vice president of franchise sales and operations. “From comprehensive training to ongoing support, we’re setting a new standard in the auto insurance franchise space.”
The new franchise locations include Pasadena, California, owned by Saul Machado; Livermore, California, owned by Ray Ocon; Antioch, California, owned by Wesley Cao; Richmond, Texas, owned by Mohanad Ghazal; and Danbury, Connecticut, owned by Jesus Pedrosa.
Freeway Insurance franchises require a standard franchise fee of $25,000, with a reduced rate of $15,000 offered to honorably discharged veterans. The company is actively recruiting new franchisees across the US.
Founded in 1987, Freeway Insurance is one of the largest privately held insurance distributors in the United States. The company provides auto, home, renters, health, and other insurance products through a mix of retail locations, call centers, and digital platforms. As a subsidiary of Confie, Freeway Insurance is part of a national distribution network that targets diverse and traditionally underserved customer segments, particularly in the non-standard auto insurance market.
