American Integrity Insurance Group, a Tampa-based property and casualty insurance holding company, will ring the New York Stock Exchange’s Closing Bell to commemorate its recent initial public offering in May.
Founded in 2006, American Integrity focuses on residential property insurance, primarily in Florida. The company also maintains a smaller presence in Georgia and South Carolina. As of the end of 2024, the company served more than 385,000 policyholders and managed about 356,000 active policies, the majority of which are located in Florida.
The company completed its IPO on May 9, offering about 6.9 million shares of common stock at $16 per share. Of those, about 6.3 million were newly issued by the company, while the remainder came from selling shareholders. The shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on May 8 under the ticker symbol, “AII.”
Proceeds from the offering are expected to support general corporate purposes, including contributions to the company’s insurance subsidiary and the payment of fees and expenses associated with the offering.
Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Piper Sandler, and William Blair acted as joint bookrunning managers, with Citizens JMP, Raymond James and Oppenheimer & Co. serving as co-managers.
“We achieved a major milestone in May having successfully listed our shares on the New York Stock Exchange, a moment that marked not just financial achievement, but validation of our culture which has been built on integrity, resilience, and purpose - and deeply rooted in inclusivity,” said Bob Ritchie, founder and CEO of American Integrity.
The company has experienced policy growth through both organic expansion and assumption activity.
In early 2025, American Integrity acquired approximately 9,200 policies from Citizens Property Insurance Corp. For the first quarter of 2025, the company reported a 42.9% year-over-year increase in policies in force, along with a 66.5% increase in premiums earned.
American Integrity holds an “A” (Exceptional) financial stability rating from Demotech. It ranks among the top 10 writers of homeowners’ insurance in Florida based on direct premiums written and has received multiple workplace recognitions in recent years.
The bell-ringing ceremony marks a traditional step for companies completing IPOs or celebrating other key milestones.
