Global broking network Brokerslink has expanded its UK employee benefits capabilities with the appointment of Southampton-based broker Everywhen.

The move adds a dedicated UK employee benefits (EB) consultancy to Brokerslink's network, which brings together independent brokers and specialist firms in more than 130 countries. The network is designed to give members access to international expertise and markets while they retain local ownership and client relationships.

“Welcoming Everywhen to our network strengthens Brokerslink’s capabilities in employee benefits and underscores our commitment to offering clients access to specialist expertise in key markets," said Carla Alves, marketing and operations director at Brokerslink. "Everywhen EB brings technical knowledge, innovative solutions and a client-focused approach, and we are delighted to have Iain and his team on board.”

Everywhen, launched in 2025 as a unified brand by the Ardonagh Group, advises employers of varying sizes on workforce benefits and wellbeing. Its technical focus includes health, life and disability cover, pensions support, employee wellbeing and benefits technology. The firm trades as Everywhen and operates under Advisory Insurance Brokers Limited and Health and Protection Solutions Limited, which are authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

Employee benefits focus within global networks

The appointment reflects a broader trend among international broker networks to treat employee benefits as a core growth area alongside property, casualty and specialty lines. Brokerslink has been developing its EB proposition through a formal employee benefits practice and increased coordination among regional members.

The timing of the move also coincides with steady global growth in employee benefits spending, driven by competition for talent, rising healthcare costs and increased employer focus on wellbeing and mental health. Recent market forecasts point to mid-single-digit annual growth for the wider employee benefits sector over the coming years.

Technology is a key part of that trend. More employers are using digital tools for benefits enrolment, communication and compliance, and the global market for employee benefits administration software is expected to expand over the next decade as adoption increases among medium and large organisations.

"Joining Brokerslink is an exciting step for Everywhen EB," said Iain Laws, CEO health and benefits at Everywhen. "It allows us to extend our employee benefits expertise through a global network while maintaining the personal, high-quality service our clients expect."

Opportunities for specialty lines

The addition of a UK EB specialist to Brokerslink's network may create further opportunities in group risk, health and related lines as multinational employers look for more consistent benefits strategies. Advisory firms have reported growing interest in global benefits financing structures such as pooling and captives, as companies seek to manage cost and volatility and gain better insight into claims and utilisation across regions.
