Acrisure has expanded its UK managing general agent (MGA) network with the launch of 2Vision, a new specialist underwriting business for the UK market.

2Vision, which launched on Feb. 11, 2026, is under Sutton Specialist Risks (SSR) and joins Acrisure's UK MGA network alongside AUK MGA and Modus. The move forms part of Acrisure's strategy to broaden its underwriting footprint in the UK and to build out a more integrated platform across broking and delegated authority.

Specialist lines and broker-focused proposition

2Vision will initially focus on professional liability, standalone terrorism and directors' and officers' (D&O) insurance. These lines have seen sustained demand for specialist capacity and tailored wordings in recent years, particularly from small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-market clients.

The MGA is led by underwriting manager Gary Green (pictured), whose team of four brings specialist experience in the targeted classes. Based in Chelmsford, Essex, the operation is intended to combine local market knowledge with the technology, systems and support available across the wider Acrisure network.

“With Acrisure’s support, we’ve been able to focus on delivering exceptional customer service from day one, and we’re incredibly excited to be part of its growing MGA network," Green said. "We’re excited to grow alongside Acrisure and make a real impact on the market, and our ambition is to grow within our current areas of expertise by offering a wider range of products to brokers.”

Commenting on the launch, Mark McIlquham, CEO of Acrisure UK, said it marks another step in the group’s efforts to build a broader UK platform.

The creation of 2Vision follows a period of continued growth in the UK MGA sector, as insurers look to access niche expertise and distribution, and large intermediary groups develop in-house underwriting capabilities.

For Acrisure, the addition of another MGA provides greater scope to design products, control wordings and deploy capacity in chosen segments, rather than relying solely on external facilities and carrier arrangements.

Market context and competitive implications

The launch also comes at a time when many carriers are reviewing their delegated authority strategies, weighing the benefits of access to specialist underwriting and distribution against the need for tighter oversight, data quality and performance management.

In that context, 2Vision’s addition to Acrisure’s portfolio is likely to be closely watched by insurers seeking MGA partners in the same classes. It also follows what Acrisure described as a strong year of growth for its UK operations.
