Two major commercial insurance players have announced changes to their leadership teams.
QBE has appointed Anna Connolly (pictured above) as European property product manager, effective October 1, 2025.
In her new role, she will oversee the strategic direction of QBE’s European property portfolio, including efforts to enhance the insurer’s position in major risk segments and strengthen its primary lead capabilities across Europe.
Connolly, who currently serves as portfolio manager for London Market – Property, will join the insurer’s European Operations (EO) team while remaining based in London. She will report to Naintara Agarwal, director of underwriting and portfolio management for QBE EO.
Agarwal said Connolly’s experience in the UK market would be instrumental in advancing QBE’s objectives in the European property space.

Hyeji Kang (pictured immediately above, left) will become chief financial officer of Allianz Commercial and Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS), effective October 1, 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
