Several notable appointments have been announced across the financial services and insurance sectors, with companies focusing on expanding their expertise and leadership teams.
Quick Ralf & Grant (QRG), a specialist insurance group and Lloyd’s broker, has appointed Ted Zaimis (pictured left) as director for Greece, where he will oversee the company’s marine division in the region.
Marsh, part of Marsh McLennan, has appointed Typhaine Beaupérin (pictured right) as client leader for risk management in Europe.
She joins from the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA), where she served as CEO and Secretary General for nearly a decade. Beaupérin has played a significant role in shaping European risk management policies and is set to further strengthen Marsh’s European operations.
Broadstone, an independent UK financial services consultancy, has appointed Bill Pedersen as non-executive director to its board.
Pedersen, with 35 years of experience in the financial services sector, previously worked at Milliman, an international consulting and actuarial firm. He served as chief financial officer for 20 years and later as the firm’s first chief operating officer before retiring in 2020.
